I am a concert and chamber pianist, which informs the way I see psychotherapy. Therapy is the chance to do what music does: to create linkage with other people and the earth, to make it new, to make it alive.

Research is an important part in the world, which lies solidly behind clinical practices. As a mindfulness researcher, I believe it can make a bridge through traditional practices with courage and surprises.

Born and raised in Shenzhen/Hong Kong and used to live in Switzerland, I have seen how culture shapes people's beliefs and genuine needs. Maybe there is not a one-size-fits-all solution to every people, but I believe in the power of appreciating each person's unique spirits and experiences.

I am licensed in mainland China and Hong Kong (LICBT Practitioner) and live in New York City.
